Twice Two Many

My soundscape composition—twice two many—revolves around the dread with which I lived this past summer because I found myself working at Tim Hortons despite having quit last year. It captures my fears of being compelled to spend the rest of my working days in a poorly-paid performative customer service role.

I strategically layered and distorted sounds of Tim Hortons to represent how working there drained me of my ability to engage in the activities which made me feel most human.

I fear the noise, and losing the one who makes it stop.

("Twice Two Many" is a play on words, which not only refers to the iconic double double, but also refers to my experience of having to work at Tim Hortons twice)
